Jawad El Yamiq

Jawad El Yamiq (Arabic: جواد الياميق; born 29 February 1992) is a Moroccan professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Saudi club Al-Wehda and the Morocco national team.[2] He was part of the Moroccon national team that played in the 2018 African Nations Championship and 2022 FIFA World Cup.[3][4]

International career
changeOn 10 November 2022, he was named in Morocco's 26-man squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup that was scheduled to be held in Qatar.[4] After Morocco defeated Canada 2–1 in a World Cup match, El Yamiq made headlines as he was seen waving a Palestinian Flag during the post-match celebrations.[5]
