Jim Toy
LGBT activist and educator
James W. Toy (April 29, 1930 – January 1, 2022) was an American LGBT activist and educator. He was the first openly gay man in Michigan. He was a well known LGBTQ+ rights activist in Michigan. He helped create LGBT offices and resources at the University of Michigan and other buildings/institutions in the state.
