John Thierry

American football player (1971-2017)

John Fitzgerald Thierry (September 4, 1971 – November 24, 2017) was a former professional American football defensive end player. He was born in Houston, Texas. He studied at Alcorn State University.

From 1994 through 1998, Thierry played for the Chicago Bears. In 1999, he played for the Cleveland Browns. From 2000 to 2001, he played for the Green Bay Packers. In 2002, he played for the Atlanta Falcons. During his career Thierry played in 131 games and started 70 of them recording 33.5 sacks and 158 tackles with 7 fumble recoveries. [1]

Thierry died on November 24, 2017 of a heart attack at the age of 46.[2]
