Joko Widodo
Joko Widodo (born 21 June 1961), also known as Jokowi, is an Indonesian politician and former businessperson. He was the 7th President of Indonesia from 2014 to 2024.

Jokowi is a member of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P). He started his career as Mayor of Surakarta from 28 July 2005 until 1 October 2012.[1] Then, he was Governor of Jakarta from 15 October 2012 until 16 October 2014. Jokowi was re-elected president in the April 2019 presidential election.[1]
Jokowi was born at Brayat Minulya General Hospital in Surakarta, Central Java. [2] He is a Islam. He has been married to Iriana since 1986. They have three children, including Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka. He is also a Heavy metal music fan.[3] He graduated from the Faculty of Forestry at the Gadjah Mada University.
