Jon Hassell

US-American trumpeter and composer of fusion music (1937-2021)

Jon Hassell (March 22, 1937[1] – June 26, 2021) was an American trumpet player and composer. He was best known for creatting the idea of "Fourth World" music. It combines world ethnic traditions with modern electronic techniques.
