Karl Bozicevic
Karl Bozicevic is an American attorney and author.[1][2] He is known as the co-founder and partner at Bozicevic, Field and Francis, LLP.[3]

Early life and education
changeKarl Bozicevic was born in 1952 in Somerville, Massachusetts, to Andrew Bozicevic, who served as a captain on an Exxon super tanker.[4] He completed high school in Fort Lauderdale and earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Tulane University in 1974.[5][6] He later earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Nova Southeastern University's Shepard Broad College of Law in 1978 and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Intellectual Property Law from George Washington University in 1985, studying under Professor Irving Kayton.[7]
Career
changeKarl started his career practicing patent law in Tokyo for two years before working for Lubrizol. In 1990, he became a partner at Morrison & Foerster.[8][9] Throughout his career, he has worked with both start-up companies and publicly traded corporations in the field of intellectual property law.[10] From 1994 to 1997, he was a partner at Fish & Richardson P.C.[11][12] In 1997, he co-founded Bozicevic, Field & Francis LLP, where he continues to serve as a founding partner.[13][10]
He is licensed to practice law in several states, including Florida, Washington, D.C., Ohio, and California, as well as before the U.S. Patent Office.[14][15] His work includes developing patents for technologies like transgenic animals, prion assays, fluid flow, and small particle formation.[16] In 2011, Bozicevic published a fiction book named Cardinal Hoax.[17]
