Kenji (era)

Kenji (建治) was a Japanese era (年号,, nengō,, lit. "year name") which came after Bun'ei and before Kōan. The period started April 1275 and ended February 1278.^[1] During this time, the emperor was Go-Uda-tennō (後宇多天皇).^[2]

1275 (Kenji 1): The Mongols sent an ambassador to Kamakura along with the delegation sent from the Goryeo.^[3]
