Kotaro Suzumura

Japanese economist

Kotaro Suzumura (鈴村 興太郎, Suzumura Kōtarō, 7 January 1944[1] – 15 January 2020) was a Japanese economist and professor emeritus of Hitotsubashi University. He graduated from Hitotsubashi University in 1966.[2]

His research interests were in social choice theory and welfare economics.[3] He was also a Fellow of the Econometric Society.[4] He was born in Tokoname, Aichi, Japan.
