changeLelepa is 5 kilometers in length (north-south direction) and its area is 160 hectares. 500 people live on the island, most of them live in the town of Natapao (350 people). The island has a school, kindergarten and two churches.
People on this island speak the Lelepa language. About 400 people speak it.
