List of United States senators from Connecticut
Wikimedia list article
This is a list of the United States senators from Connecticut.
United States senators are elected for a six-year term. The term begins on January 3. Elections are held the first Tuesday after November 1. Before 1914, senators were chosen by the Connecticut General Assembly. Before 1935, their terms began March 4.
Senators are placed in different classes. This is so both senators for a state are not elected during the same year.
Class 1
changeClass 1 senators had elections in 1994, 2000, 2006, and 2012.
