Lew Rockwell

American libertarian author, editor, and political consultant
(Redirected from Llewelyn Rockwell)

Llewelyn Rockwell is an American anarcho-capitalist and friend of Murray Rothbard. He supported the Black Panther Party and co-created paleolibertarianism with Rothbard.

In the 1990s, Rockwell worked as the editor of Ron Paul’s newsletters. This became a controversy when it turned out that they said things like “No doubt the blacks would have privatized the welfare state through continued looting but they were paid off and the violence subsided” and other similar statements. In 2011, Rockwell worked as Paul’s chief of staff. Rockwell is known for opposing American military intervention.
