Manfred Rommel
German politician (1928–2013)
Manfred Rommel, Hon. CBE (24 December 1928 – 7 November 2013) was a German politician. He belonged to the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). He was Lord Mayor of Stuttgart from 1974 until 1996. He was the only son of Erwin Rommel and his wife Lucia Maria Mollin.

Rommel was born on 24 December 1928 in Stuttgart, Weimar Republic, Germany. He was married to Liselotte Rommel from 1954 until his death in 2013. They had a daughter, Cathrine Rommel. Rommel died on 7 November 2013 from Parkinson's disease in Stuttgart, Germany. He was 84 years old.[2]
