Manuel Blanco Encalada
Chilean politician and President (1790-1876)
Manuel José Blanco y Calvo de Encalada (April 21, 1790 – September 5, 1876) was a vice-admiral in the Chilean Navy. He later became a political figure, and the first President of the provisional government of Chile in 1826.[1]
