Michael Shaw, Baron Shaw of Northstead

British politician (1920–2021)

Michael Norman Shaw, Baron Shaw of Northstead (9 October 1920 – January 2021) was a British Conservative Party politician. He was a Member of Parliament (MP) from 1960 to 1964 and from 1966 to 1992. He was a member of the National Liberal, before becoming a Conservative. He was born in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

From 1973 to 1979, he was a Member of the European Parliament.

Shaw turned 100 in October 2020.[1][2] He died three months later in January 2021.[3]
