Mitsubishi Proudia
The Mitsubishi Proudia is a luxury sedan made by Mitsubishi Motors. It was first produced from 1999 to 2001, and later from 2012 to 2016. The Proudia was designed to be a luxury vehicle, positioned below the flagship Dignity limousine in Mitsubishi's range.

The first generation of the Mitsubishi Proudia was made between 1999 and 2001. With Hyundai selling their own version called the Hyundai Equus It came with different engine options, including a V6 engine and a V8 engine. The car was available with front-wheel drive. It was equipped with features such as CCD cameras and adaptive cruise control. However, the Proudia did not sell well, and production ended after only a few years. A total of 1,227 units were made but the Hyundai Equus was a success being sold until 2009.[1]

The second generation of the Proudia was made from 2012 to 2016. This model was based on the Nissan Fuga, which Mitsubishi sold under the Proudia name.[2] The second generation had both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive options. It also had a hybrid version, but this was only available in the Dignity limousine.[3]

Discontinuation
changeIn 2016, Mitsubishi stopped making the Proudia and Dignity cars. The Proudia was not popular in the market, and the company decided to end production.
