Nita Ambani (born 1 November 1963) is an Indian philanthropist and businesswoman, best known as the chairperson of the Reliance Foundation and as a director of Reliance Industries. She is the wife of Mukesh Ambani, chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries, and is highly recognized for her work in areas such as education, healthcare, rural transformation, sports, and the arts.[1]

Nita Ambani was born as Nita Dalal in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She grew up in a middle-class Gujarati family and pursued her education at Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics. Before her marriage to Mukesh Ambani, Nita was a teacher and passionate about dance, especially Bharatanatyam, a form of Indian classical dance.
