Pacific Northwest Bell
former division of AT&T Corporation and then US West
The Pacific Northwest Bell Telephone Company is an American telephone service provider. It operates in the U.S. states of Washington, Oregon and northern Idaho. As of January 1, 1991, the Pacific Northwest Bell name was no longer used for marketing though the company still exists. It does business as CenturyLink Communications (also called as LUMEN).[1]
Seven years after the Bell System breakup, the Pacific Northwest Bell name stopped being used. It was revived in the early 2010s by CenturyLink.
