Primary and secondary schools

The public elementary and middle school district, known as Pacifica School District, (formerly the Laguna Salada School District), consists of Vallemar, Cabrillo, Ingrid B. Lacy, Sunset Ridge, Ortega, Linda Mar and Ocean Shore schools. Pacifica has one private high school and two public high schools which are part of the Jefferson Union High School District.
