Paramount Global(also known as ViacomCBS between 2019 and 2022) is an American multinational media conglomerate (a big company that owns other companies) that is headquartered in New York City. The company was formed in 2019 with the merging of CBS Corporation and Viacom.

The biggest companies that Paramount Global owns include the Paramount Pictures film and television studio, the CBS Entertainment Group (consisting of the CBS television network, television stations, and other CBS-branded assets), domestic networks (consisting of U.S.-based cable television networks including MTV, Nickelodeon, BET, Comedy Central, and Showtime), and the company's streaming services (including Paramount+ and Pluto TV). Paramount Global also has a dedicated international division ((5) section of a large company) that manages international versions of its TV and Movie networks, as well as region-specific companies that they own like Telefe in Argentina. They also own a 30% stake in the stocks of the Rainbow S.p.A. studio in Italy.
