Planet of Lana is a puzzle video game. It was published by Thunderful Publishing and was developed by Wishfully Studios.[1]

It was released on May 23, 2023 for Windows, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and on April 16, 2024 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.[2][3]
In the game, the player controls a young girl named Lana along with her partner, a cat named Mui. The player has to try and make it through an alien machine infested planet and save Lana's kidnapped sister.[4]
The developers said that they took inspiration for the art style from Studio Ghibli movies.[5]
Reception
changeThe game recieved good reviews by game critics. Critics said that they liked the story, puzzle variety, presentation, and art style. However, some critics said that the middle half of the story was a bit boring, the puzzle challenges were not creative enough and it was short.[6][7]
Planet of Lana would be nominated for Outstanding Achievement in Original Music Composition at the D.I.C.E. Awards but lost to Marvel's Spider-Man 2.[8]
