It is the first game featuring Princess Peach as the main character since Super Princess Peach.
Gameplay

During the September 2023 Nintendo Direct, more footage of the game was shown. Included was Peach's transformations including Swordfighter Peach, Detective Peach, Patissier Peach, and Kung Fu Peach.[3]
