Ralph K. Winter Jr.

American judge (1935–2020)

Ralph Karl Winter Jr. (July 30, 1935 – December 8, 2020) was an American politician and lawyer. He was born in Waterbury, Connecticut. He was known as a conservative judge. Winter was the judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit from 1981 until his death. He was nominated to the court by President Ronald Reagan.

Winter Jr. died on December 8, 2020 in North Haven, Connecticut from esophageal cancer, aged 85.[1][2]
