History
changeRxSense was founded in 2015 by Rick Bates.[4] The company focuses on technology for better health care and affordable medications.[5][6] Rick has previously served as the President and COO of Catalyst Health Solutions.[7] RxSense partners include ProAct, TroyRx and EmsanaRX, among others.[8][9][10] In 2020, RxSense received an investment from Parthenon Capital, but the amount was not disclosed.[11][12][13][14]
SingleCare, a subsidiary of RxSense, is a free to use service that helps people save money on prescription medicines.[15][16][17] In 2020, SingleCare partnered with WebMD to create WebMDRx, to give customers better access to lower-priced prescription drugs.[18] In 2021, FamilyWize merged with SingleCare Services and now operates under the SingleCare brand.[19] In 2021, Martin Short partnered with SingleCare for TV ads promoting lower cost medicines.[20][21] Bates received the Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2018 for his work in SingleCare.[22]
RxAgile is a cloud-based platform and was the first product developed by RxSense.[23]
