Western Canadian supermarket chain

Save-On-Foods is a Canadian supermarket chain. There are Save-On-Foods locations throughout Western Canada. The chain traces its origins back to 1915 with the Overwaitea Foods company[1] and is owned by Pattison Food Group. It is a full service grocery store, with most stores also having a pharmacy.

The Save-On-Foods banner launched in 1982. Many Overwaitea Foods stores began to turn into Save-On-Foods stores after that time, with the last Overwaitea Foods store converting in 2021.[2]

In 2012, Darrell Jones became the president of Save-On-Foods.[3]

The chain has stores in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and the Yukon.[4]
