Scotty Bowers
American author and pimp (1923–2019)
George Albert "Scotty" Bowers (July 1, 1923 – October 13, 2019) was an American prostitute pimp and Marine. From the 1940s to the 1980s, a Hollywood pimp.[1][2][3][4][5] His life was the purpose of the Hollywood Babylon. Bowers finally decided to talk publicly about his life when most of the people involved were dead and, in his words, "The truth can’t hurt them anymore."

Bowers died at his home in Los Angeles, aged 96, on October 13, 2019.[6] The cause of death was kidney failure.[7]
