The song was able to make it to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, #1 on the Mainstream Top 40, #1 on the Rhythmic, and #3 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts.[1][2][3][4] It was certified 2× by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI). The original was certified Gold and the mastertone was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).[5][6]
In the song, Ne-Yo sings about how he tired of listening to the radio because the songs that are playing remind him of a ex-girlfriend but he can't turn the radio off.
A music video for the song was released. It was directed by Christian Sutton. In the video, shots of snowy mountains are shown. Ne-Yo is at a house thinking about a woman. A couple have an argument. Ne-Yo walks through the town and different events throughout the relationship are shown like a snowball fight, eating dinner and kissing. It was shot in the hills of Aspen, Colorado.[7]
