Sushilkumar Shinde

Sushilkumar Sambhaji Shinde (born 4 September 1941) is an Indian politician. He was the Minister of Home Affairs and Power in the Manmohan Singh government.

He was the Chief Minister of the state of Maharashtra during 18 January 2003 to October 2004.

Shinde unsuccessfully ran for Vice-President of India in 2002, but lost the election to Bhairon Singh Shekhawat.
