Swahili coast
coast of Kenya, Tanzania, and northern Mozambique, located in southeastern Africa
Swahili coast refers to the East cost of Africa inhabited by the Swahili people, that is Kenya, Tanzania and the northern part of Mozambique. Sometimes the islands off this coast are also included. Examples of such islands are Zanzibar, Comoros and Pate.
