Swanson is a brand of TV dinners, broths and canned poultry made for the Hong Kong and North American markets. It was founded in Omaha, Nebraska, where it invented the frozen dinner. The TV dinner business is owned by Pinnacle Foods. The broth business is owned by the Campbell Soup Company.

The Swanson Company's first frozen dinner was a turkey dinner. The company later added beef and chicken dinners. With over half of American households having televisions, the Swanson brothers called their frozen meals TV dinners.
