scientific theories or "theories"?
change@Macdonald-ross: Since theories article exists and is significantly different from scientific theory, why take the chance of confusing the reader and not say "scientific theories" directly? Stewi101015 (talk) 11:48, 18 October 2015 (UTC)
- The link takes them to scientific theory. They are meant to press the link if they want more information. In this context, science is understood because the whole page is about science. Macdonald-ross (talk) 11:54, 18 October 2015 (UTC)
- The reader may not understand what science is, most readers of any wikipedia will not. Why added a piped-link to a different subject than is displayed? Why make them click, just to know how the word is being used, unnecessarily? It may confuse reader between the jargon terminology used within the scientific community, and the completely different common usage of "theory". The way you have twice reverted is unhelpful to the readers, so why make that effort? Stewi101015 (talk) 22:11, 18 October 2015 (UTC)
