Game vs Gaming change
In English we do not say "gaming" to mean "playing a game". We use it to mean betting or gambling. For games, we say is simply "playing a game". This idiom is universal in British English; I think the same idiom holds for American English, but am not sure.
When you think about 'playing a game' it is immediately clear that many or most games are not sedentary, but rather active. In writing a page on anything topical and popular, it pays to look out for journalist and P.R. overstatements, and avoid them. Macdonald-ross (talk) 14:34, 10 August 2011 (UTC)
