I could be wrong, but when referring to storage, 1 megabte = 1.000.000 bytes; 1 gigabyte= 1.000.000.000 bytes. This has always been the case, for the other terms we have mebi- and gibibytes. --Eptalon (talk) 22:41, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
