Why not add more information to this and other articles? change

I just added the incident that happened in British Columbia to this article, but [https://simple.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Gondola_lift&diff=next&oldid=6635564 it was reverted] before I could add a reference (there are so many - I could choose which one to add). I don't understand why? Ottawahitech (talk) 15:40, 14 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

A single accident on a very specific gondola is undue weight on a general article about gondola lifts. We are not a newspaper so every single thing like this does not need to be shoehorned into articles. -DJSasso (talk) 16:20, 14 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
I have copied over the complete list of accidents from enwiki, then added two more incidents. Is this accepatable? Ottawahitech (talk) 14:59, 15 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
The list of accidents is twice as long as the stuff actually talking about Gondola's. So I will just let you think about if that is undue weight or not. I am sure you will figure it out. -DJSasso (talk) 15:15, 15 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
I don't consider this article to be mine. Just wondering if others have something to contribute. I see this page had 16/26 pageviews yesterday. Ottawahitech (talk) 15:33, 15 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
Most of the page views were likely you and me going to back to the page a few times. -DJSasso (talk) 17:25, 15 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
Return to "Gondola lift" page.
