• On En wiki this title redirects to en:Arabian Peninsula, and our default policy is to follow En. That means changing to a redirect here as well. The content at present relates only to the birth and growth of Islam, which we have already got elsewhere. In other words, if we do not redirect, we have a problem as to what should go in here which is not already catered for. That may be why En wiki treats it as a redirect.   • I have now added information about the pre-Islamic era. On En they have a whole article for en:Pre-Islamic Arabia, but there isn't one here, and the rest of the history there is at en:Arabian Peninsula#History.
