Each UNESCO site has an official name, and each site page has the same message highlighted in a kind of yellow below the infobox on the right:
- Property names are listed in the
language in which they have been
submitted by the State Party [government of India].
For this reason, I believe every article should have this "official" name or phrase in the first sentence.
However, in some cases, the official name is not the best name for our SEWP article. In my opinion, the official site name should only be a redirect page; and perhaps multiple redirect pages are needed or likely to be helpful.
The naming issues are not simple. The following changes and redirects are proposed. We'll see how this works out as red links slowly turn blue --Horeki (talk) 14:12, 13 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
