Mufti Tariq Masood (born 1975) is a Pakistani Islamic scholar. He is a leader of Jamat Ahl-e-sunnat in Pakistan. He pursued an intensive, full-time study of the classical, Islamic academic disciplines previously known as the 'Dars-e-Nizami', and completed his specialisation in Islamic jurisprudence famously known for their way of understanding religion to other people easily.He is also known for writing a book "ek se zayid shadiyon ki zaroorat kyun".

Personal Life change
Mufti Tariq Masood was born in Sargodha, Punjab of Pakistan sunni religious family. Now based in Karachi, he is a renowned scholar among hindi/urdu speaking people. He is a mufti studied and trained in islamic jurisprudence and follower of Imam Abu Hanifa in matter of fiqhs. He rose to fame for his famous bayans on the importance of marriages. He himself has 4 wives and preaches that according to sharia it is better to have multiple wives than having affairs. He is often seen urging youth for marriage.
