Tech Nation's Programmes[4] and Events consist of a range of initiatives and activities intended to strengthen the advancement of the UK's technology sector.[5] These programs and events serve the purpose of convening entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, and other stakeholders to facilitate innovation, collaboration, and the exchange of knowledge within the tech ecosystem.

Tech Nation's Global Talent Visa is a program designed to attract highly skilled individuals from around the world to work in the UK's technology sector. Formerly known as the Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa, the Global Talent Visa allows tech professionals with exceptional skills or promising potential to live and work in the UK without needing a job offer beforehand.

The Global Talent Visa[6] is open to talented individuals in various technology-related fields, including but not limited to software engineering, data science, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. Applicants must demonstrate their exceptional talent or potential through a rigorous endorsement process conducted by Tech Nation or one of its endorsing bodies.[7]

Once endorsed, successful applicants receive a visa that allows them to work for any employer or be self-employed in the UK's technology sector. The visa also provides opportunities for permanent residency and eventually British citizenship for those who meet the necessary criteria.[8]

Tech Nation's Global Talent Visa program[9] aims to strengthen the UK's technology ecosystem[10] by attracting top talent from around the world, fostering innovation, and driving economic growth.
