This is a documentation subpage for Template:USCongDistState.

This template creates navigation box for a state's congressional districts.

If the state currently has (or once had but no longer has) an At-large district, then the "AL" field should be included with non-blank data.
If the state has never had more than one district (e.g. Alaska), then
- the "districts" field should be blank or 0 (zero) and
- the "AL" field should be included with non-blank data.
If the state had a territorial district, then the "territory" field should be included with non-blank data.
If the state has a state-specific redistricting article, put non-blank data in the "specific-redist" field to override the default link to the general Redistricting article.
