Cleanup needed
changeHello, an IP editor likely copied this template from EnWP. I think some work needs to be done:
- While all articles exist at EnWP, some are in a miserable state, and need copyediting/referencing.
- There are an estimated 70-80 red links of different slavery-related articles needing creation. Likely, we should cut that down to a manageble level (of 20-30 red links at most).
- There may be some thematic overlap, where we likely can use redirects.
What is needed are historians/people interested in history, as well as social scientists. We can't sipmly copy over the EnWP articles, they need to be reviewed for accuracy, and simplified to match our audience (no, not schoolchildren).
I do see a multi-step process:
- For each "section": Maximum 10 articles, besides the overview article.
- Maximum 5-6 main sections
Given our editor base, and the current interest, this process can take months. What do other people think? Eptalon (talk) 14:43, 2 September 2023 (UTC)
- Details, details: Our "audience": adults, schoolchildren, and even pigs-with-wings (if any of those can read Simple-English).--Yeah, I know what user:Eptalon meant.--Redirects? I think it is often better to have a "black-link"/"black no-link" followed by "(related-page: ...)". 46.15.98.222 (talk) 15:56, 2 September 2023 (UTC)
When a red-link topic is being covered (okay) in this-or-that article
changePlease notify this talk-page, if the topic of any of the red-links, is being covered in this-or-that (simple-wiki) article.--And please name which article, which best seems to be covering any one of the red-link topics.--See you on this page, soon, i hope! 46.15.98.222 (talk) 15:41, 2 September 2023 (UTC)
- We don't need it and if we did one it should be based on our page(s).
