Terry Crews

American actor, television host, and former American football player (born 1968)

Terrence Alan Crews[1] (born July 30, 1968[2]) is an American stand-up comedian, actor, voice artist, and comedian. He is known for appearing in Everybody Hates Chris, The Expendables, White Chicks, The 6th Day, Norbit, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and other movies and television series. He is a retired NFL player. Crews is from Flint, Michigan. Crews was the host of Who Wants to be a Millionaire on September 2014 until May 2015 due to his busy schedule. He was replaced by Chris Harrison in September 2015.

Early life and education

Terrence Alan Crews grew up in a strict Christian household in Flint. His mother raised him, because his father was an alcoholic.[3][4] His great aunt gave him a flute, so Terrence took lessons for eight years.[5] He played football at Western Michigan University (WMU) in Kalamazoo, Michigan.[6]
