The Comey Rule

American drama miniseries

The Comey Rule is an upcoming American miniseries based on the book A Higher Loyalty by former FBI director James Comey.

The show is about FBI director James Comey as he serves under the new president of the United States Donald Trump.

It was announced in October 2019 that Billy Ray was to write and direct a miniseries produced by CBS Television Studios. Jeff Daniels will play James Comey[1] and Brendan Gleeson playing Donald Trump.[2] Michael Kelly, Jennifer Ehle,[3] Holly Hunter,[4] Steven Pasquale, Oona Chaplin,[5] Scoot McNairy, William Sadler and T. R. Knight[6] will also star with Peter Coyote cast as Robert Mueller.[7]

In June 2020, the series was revealed to be named The Comey Rule and will consist of two episodes totalling four hours.[8]

It will premiere over two nights on September 27 and 28, 2020.[9]
