Tim Sale
American comic artist (1956–2022)
Tim Sale (May 1, 1956 – June 16, 2022) was an American comics artist. He was born in Ithaca, New York. He won the 1999 Eisner Award. He was known for his works with DC Comics and illustrated the comics Batman: The Long Halloween, Batman: Dark Victory and Superman For All Seasons.

On June 13, 2022, Sale was hospitalized in Seattle, Washington under serious condition.[1] He died three days later from kidney failure at the age of 66.[2]
