Typhoon Nalgae, known in the Philippines as Severe Tropical Storm Paeng, was a severe tropical cyclone that hit the northern entire of the Philippines.

On October 26, the Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC) said in its Tropical Cyclone Formation Alert (TCFA) bulletin that a low pressure near the Philippines was growing into something that could become a tropical depression. The other agency named it Invest 93 W. However, the PAGASA has already of the disturbance and it gave of PAGASA to a local name Paeng, A 16th tropical cyclone and the 4th in the month of October 2022 in the Philippines.
