Layers of the plant cell wall
Diagram of bacterial cell walls

A cell wall[1] is the wall of a cell in plants, bacteria, fungi, algae, and some archaea. Animal cells do not have cell walls, nor do protozoa. Cell walls protect the cells from damage. It is also there to make the cell strong, to keep its shape, and to control the growing of the cell and plant.

The cell wall is the tough, usually flexible but sometimes fairly rigid layer that surrounds some types of cells. It is outside the cell membrane and gives these cells support and protection, as well as acting as a filter. The cell wall also acts as a pressure vessel, preventing over-expansion when water enters the cell by osmosis.

The material in the cell wall varies. In plants and algae, the cell wall is made of long molecules of cellulose, pectin and hemicellulose. The cell wall has channels which let some proteins in and keeps others out. Water and small molecules can go through the cell wall and the cell membrane.

Cell wall function

change

The cell wall has many uses in cells. First, the cell wall[1] helps to keep shape and give structure to support cell shape. Second, it can help cell does not lose water.Because it likes a wall to split water. Third, It helps  in spread of gasses in and out of cell, and also provides mechanical protection from insects and pathogens.Fourth, it keep away from the cell from break to tugor pressure, and many different ways [2]in different cells.

The bacteria (kinds of very living thing)  cell wall is a good example. The bacteria has two different types that gram positive(bacteria are those that are stained dark blue or violet by gram staining.) and gram negative( bacteria that do not retain crystal violet dye  in staining.). The names from reaction of the cells to gram staining. The cell wall is very important part of bacteria and can not lose if the bacteria wants to survive. The cell wall is one of the most important sites for attack by antibiotics. And it causes symptoms of disease in animals. And cell wall not only provide ligands for adherence and receptor sites for drugs(like bad medicines) or viruses(very small living thing), but also  give for difference of immune(one system of body) and change of immune among strains of bacteria. The cell wall of bacteria is similar to another cell wall in cell. For example it both give  the different immune and so on.So we know the the cell wall is very important in cells and give  many good points to cells.
