User:68.224.239.145 change

Just letting you know I extended the block you applied on User:68.224.239.145 to 1 week. Eptalon blocked him for 3 day on the 10th and the next time he edited his behaviour had not changed in any way. Under the situation, I felt a 24 hour block wasn't long enough. -- Creol(talk) 02:16, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

No worries. I was lax in checking to see how long the previous block had been for. Thanks, -  BrownE34  talk  contribs  03:29, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

Response to suggestions in Sonic the Hedgehog talk page change

Hi, I wonder if you could respond to my suggestions for improvement in the Sonic the Hedgehog talk page. Yeah, I don't think I should be asking some random person to "Respond to my post! Respond to my post!" but first, the article does needs some improvement, second, the only posts in a talk page being by one person seems lonely to me and third, I don't want to wait until next month, or the next two months, or the next three months for a response. So could you please respond? Here's a link to the talk page. Talk:Sonic the Hedgehog Thanks. P.S. How many times have you blinked? Okay, just kidding. Panda Bear 08:01, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

Jesus pics change

Ok, I removed the bottom row and some of my comments. I'll leave the others there temporarily, and make a page called depictions of Jesus or something like that... gotta go to bed now, its the we small hours in the land of Oz.--Amandajm 17:39, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

Jimi Hendrix revert change

Just thanking you for reverting the vandalism committed on Jimi Hendrix, appreciate it. -Gwib

No problem. -  BrownE34  talk  contribs  20:48, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

Not done yet, but... change

I'm not done with the improvements in the Sonic the Hedgehog article, but I was wondering if you could help me. I'm stuck up in a tree and I'm afraid to get down. Just kidding. What I really could use some help with is simplifying the character's personalities and shortening the personalities. Thanks. Panda Bear 23:38, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

Teaching Spanish and French change

Bonjour, comment ça va? I probably shouldn't be asking this here, but maybe in your user pages, you could have something that teaches some basic Spanish and French. Maybe it could teach what the word 'butt' means. (laughs) Just a suggestion. Panda Bear 13:49, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

Redirects change

How do you create redirects to an article? Panda Bear 20:34, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

I don't understand what "Alors, j'ai bien, et toi" means. Panda Bear 20:54, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

What's French for "I am doing fine, thank you?" Panda Bear 21:09, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

Showing and hiding text change

Konichiwa, Eric. (Konichiwa is Japanese for hello. I know a few Japanese words.) Comment ça va? (I'm using Japanese with French! *laughs*) Okay, you've got some text and you want the text to be hidden by default. How do you do that? Hope you know what I'm talking about. Arigato. (Japanese for thank you.) Panda Bear 19:58, 20 May 2007 (UTC)

No, that's not what I meant. (At least now I know how to leave a note for the editors.) What I meant was that when you're just viewing the article, not editing it, you can click on "Show" to show the text. And then you can click "Hide" to hide the text. Hope you now know what I mean. Student tutorial change

Hi, just a quick note about Wikipedia:Student tutorial - this page includes a sandbox area for students in schools to try out editing. Test edits should be left for a while and then reverted in an hour or so I'd say, but users shouldn't be warned, as you did to this user. We all make mistakes :). Archer7 - talk 16:26, 22 May 2007 (UTC)

Also, another quick note about User:Javier_de_la_Cueva, I've just indefinitely blocked him (even though the warnings seemed to have made him stop). My reason is that people that are like that are only here to cause trouble. They know a lot about what they're doing and they don't really give a damn about warnings. If we leave it unblocked, they're only going to come back and do it again. In future, don't be scared on indef blocks on people that are like that, they're either schoolkids that have vandalism as a hobby and won't go away, or they're just insane. Thanks, Archer7 - talk 16:39, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
Was going through the morning vandalism quickly and missed where it says that its okay to experiment on the Tutorial page. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. Understood on the vandal account. Thanks, -  BrownE34  talk  contribs  16:54, 22 May 2007 (UTC)

Please Respond ASAP....If you dont have a normal wikipedia account just leave it annonumus...I'll know who it is.

Thanks

Category:Hockey teams change

Thanks for deleting it. At first, I was too broad in treating the category, and subsequently thought that there was no category for that. Thanks a lot. I was searching already for an available administrator to delete it. --Evilclown93 19:54, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

I am a regular user at en, just so you know. I usually check minor for very small stubs, streching the rules at for that. Is there a policy here that all new pages are major edits, regardless whether it's a two-sentence stub? `--Evilclown93 19:59, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
Anyhow, thanks for welcoming me, and the advice! --Evilclown93 20:12, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

Jinbo Wales change

I believe that user "Jinbo Wales" (notice the "N" instead of the "M") should be blocked from editing Wikipedia because he or she is trying to impersonate the founder of Wikipedia. (We all know his name.) Here is the user's talk page. Panda Bear 23:57, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Mark Anthony Garrett change

Hi again,

I took what you said about links other than his own page and I found about 3 or four, And they clearly back the article on Mark Anthony Garrett. For exsample if you look on the Cached Link on his page..it gives a small bio about him and the other pages introduce him to events, keynote speaking, ect. So since I met those standards for his page would you mind removing the deletion page on his article. He is about to release a book that will be in Barnes & Noble will that help his credibility as well? Thanks Again!!! -User:MarkDonna

Your help needed change

Please check User talk:198.20.32.253. That IP is removing the warnings from the talk page over and over. I think this should be handled by an admin, possibly by protecting the page against anonymous edits for a while, or by blocking that IP for a while. - Huji reply 14:25, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

Thank you, and thanks for adding that to the blacklist.- Huji reply 14:31, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

Moscow change

What exactly was happening with the article Moscow's "external links" section? You deleted it, then I'm lost. It reappeared several times. - Isis 15:08, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, the site is in Russian, but there is a button that puts it into English. I deleted it quickly, than decided maybe I was too rash. I also thought maybe it would classify as spam, but I had second thoughts about it. In any event, I don't know exactly so I decided to leave it be for now. {{subst:browne34/sig}} 15:28, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

Kindly tell me , why don't you edit simple english dictionary for some people who need .? change

Kindly edit simple english dictionary containing about 50,000 important words for some people who need for editing Wikipedia --Basant5 16:02, 12 June 2007 (UTC) .

If you are asking me why I deleted the page you created on the Simple English Dictionary, it is because the community decided such a page is not needed here because of the Simple English Wiktionary. See the past RfD on the Deletion Discussion here. The request was made on May 10 and the page was deleted on May 18. -  BrownE34  talk  contribs  16:08, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
