Joshua Norman Haldeman was a Canadian leader of the Technocracy movement and the father of Maye Musk as well as the grandfather of Elon Musk. [1] He was also one of the first Canadian chiropractors [2] .
He was born in 1902 in Canada [2] . His mother, Dr. Almeda Haldeman-Wilson, was Canada's first chiropractor. [3]
He was arrested for protesting the Canadian government's entry into World War II, and then the technocrat movement was banned using the same laws used to ban fascist parties. [4]
He moved to South Africa in 1941 after he was arrested because he decided the Technocracy movement couldn't take over Canada. [5]
His son Scott Haldeman is an influential chiropractor. [2]
He wrote an anti-Semitic pamphlet entitled “The International Conspiracy to Establish a World Dictatopship & The Menace to South Africa" [6][1]
He died in 1974 from a plane crash. [7]
