Immanuelle/Shimosuwa Aozuka Kofun is a Zenpokoenfun . It is the only Kofun in the Suwa area[1].
The Kofun was constructed in the latter half of the sixth century, is unique as the only kofun in the Suwa area. It represents early political centralization in the area and the leadership likely built of the Suwa Taisha.[1]
