A few days ago I started using the Wikipedia App to edit in Simple. It has advantages on my iPad, mainly in scrolling. The main disadvantage is, the "Back to Safari" button often does not work, thus Watchlist becomes difficult. Also, though the app says I am logged in, it puts my IP in the log instead of my user name. I don't mind the world learning that I live on a small island off the coast of New Jersey, so have started putting my initials in the edit summary yesterday, 15 March, 2016
That last bit didn't last long. Several days ago the app began signing my edits. Jim.henderson (talk) 03:28, 23 May 2016 (UTC)
- So, I seldom edit that way anymore. But I saw an example about how to write simply: Up Goer Five
One thing I have noticed; vandalism is a far higher fraction of edits than in the big ENWP, at least in the thousands of articles I watch. My guess is, that's mostly school children. Jim.henderson (talk) 18:28, 7 April 2017 (UTC)
