AT THIS TIME, THIS BOT IS NOT APPROVED, NOR IS IT UP FOR APPROVAL. IT IS STRICTLY USED FOR TESTING IN MY USERSPACE TO VERIFY IT WILL DO ITS INTENDED PURPOSE(S).
Possible thoughts going into this are a lot that will help us gain better control of some articles that get created. These are:
- Add Reference headers and references/ to articles that do not already have them or add one or the other if missing.
- Add taxonbars to all articles that are missing them. This is done by linking to the Wikidata entry, which will create them for us.
- Will update species based on Wikidata.
- Will notify me via email of any templates broken or missing on article pages. It will also check the templates for anything edited since the last run.
- Will add commons, Wikispecies, Wikinews, etc. if the proper boxes are filled in on Wikidata
There is more, but I will hold off right now.
