Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make helpful changes to the encyclopedia. How and how not to use article talk pages change

Article talk pages exist for discussion about the article's content. If you want to send warnings to others, please use the user's talk page. Your understanding of the purpose of talk pages is requested. MathXplore (talk) 12:57, 6 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

In addition, please add new sections to the bottom of each talk page, not to the top. Thank you for your attention. MathXplore (talk) 12:58, 6 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the reminder. 0x16w (talk) 13:00, 6 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Quick Deletions of Articles change

Hello, I have noticed that you have been adding quick deletion notices on articles about places or locations. Due to the large amount of articles that you're requesting for quick deletion, I would recommended that you wait for an administrator to review the current articles that you've requested. This way, if an administrator decides to keep these articles, there wouldn't be a large number of articles for them to go through and review. It may be that an administrator wants to keep them and they may warn you for adding quick deletions to a large amount of good articles that meet Wikipedia's standards. 84Swagahh (talk) 03:53, 4 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

The vast majority of them are 1 or 2 sentences long, they all qualify for no content right? 0x16w (talk) 03:54, 4 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Most of the articles you are requesting for quick deletion are 'stubs' so I believe that they should be kept because others could add on to the articles. Wikipedia:Stub 84Swagahh (talk) 03:54, 4 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
oh ok. then I will stop for now. They were all made by this ip 213.55.220.239. 0x16w (talk) 03:55, 4 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Strange that one ip made all of those articles, I think that the articles are going to be kept because I have found a lot of short articles about places on here. just click 'Show any page' and it will likely be one. 84Swagahh (talk) 03:57, 4 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Okay, i'll try that. 0x16w (talk) 04:22, 4 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Yep, 2 randoms and I got an obscure place. 0x16w (talk) 04:22, 4 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Mass tagging with A1 change

Hello, please refrain from mass-tagging articles for deletion, especially when none of them are eligible. Mass tagging creates unnecessary burden for administrators. And even if they are short, the articles you tagged do not contain little to no meaning. An example of an article that has little to no meaning is "Jeremy is a cool guy" or "Place name exists". Thanks. — *Fehufangą✉ Talk page 12:42, 4 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

And please be careful with the other QD criteria too. A2 does not apply when the contents are significant beyond rephrasings of the title, infoboxes-only articles, or url only articles. A4 is overturned when there is a single claim of the subject's significance (not notability, mind you). — *Fehufangą✉ Talk page 13:40, 4 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
For now I will only delete obvious deletion candidates like Lumbini (recreation). 0x16w (talk) 13:44, 4 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
